			<description><![CDATA[ I really need some ideas for planting a hedge.Our fence, although only one year old when we moved here is no match for the strong winds. A couple of weekends ago it was snaking under the force of the wind. It is only being held in position by the efforts of our neighbour, who is supporting it from his side (it blows towards his garden), The fence runs east to west.<br>WE feel we need to place a hedge our side, preferably evergreen,so that it shields the fence,and eventually replaces... ]]></description>

She wants something to grow to about 6 ft but does not want the usual hedging. 			<description><![CDATA[ I live by the sea in sunny Blackpool &amp; wanted a hedge for privicy so started planting in june &amp; ive got 17 of my cherry laurels planted . At first I started watering them in sun light spraying the leaves, they seemed to love it! what I didnt know was the water would act as a magnifing glass &amp; sure enough over the past couple of weeks there was/is a lot of brownness around the leaves.Ive since pruned most of the brownyleaves off &amp; now new ones have started to grow back but now... ]]></description>
