Ok - as part of Neeps (the forum I run in the north east of Scotland) we have regularly monthly meet ups - and so I thought that if anyone up here in Scotland (or even further afield) fancied coming along to one of the meet ups then you might want to read about it here. Meet ups are generally held on the last Saturday of each month. If anyone fancies coming along either reply here or send me a pm for more info.

Wisley August 19th -21st

The British fuchsia society is having a show at Wisley to mark its 70th Anniversary this year. As John and i are involved in the Bournemouth club we will be there as we have been asked to do a display and run the advice tables ect.
If you are a British fushia soc member you get in free !! there will be a 3 day show as well.
Anyone fancy meeting up for a meet at the show ??? maybe a picnic like we normally have ??

Abbotsbury Mini Meet - finalising date

Judging from my photographs it looks like May is a good time to visit the Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens in Dorset. (Between Weymouth and Bridport on the South Coast.) May/June is also a good time to visit the Abbotsbury Swannery (subject to Bird flu of course

Hi All, As half term hols are approaching, i was wondering if any members are thinking about meeting up.

If not, does anyone have any ideas of places I could visit, or where i can find a list of places to visit around East Yorkshire.

I am feeling a bit low at the moment, and thought a day out may cheer me up, but finances won't stretch very far.
Any ideas anyone?

With all the changing of dates I thought it was better to start a new thread for this. It would be lovely to see some of the new members come along and get to know us in the flesh.

For those of you who dont know, I live right on the seafront at Goring-by-Sea, which is next door to Worthing in West Sussex. There are loads of B & B places around, including one at the top end of my lane, but if you want to bring a tent, caravan or motorhome there is room in my front garden or...
