Jan , this is a link to a site I found . I believe yours to be some type of Malva neglecta or rotundifolia - boils down to Common Mallow . Wildflower that varies from region to region.

Single petals - smal round shape with approximately 5 petals each flower. Flat like a mallow. Grows maybe 6" - 8" high and does spread if let go to seed.Green oval shaped leaves - small .
