Good Morning everyone.

Although it's a tad cold at -2C, the sun is bright, strong and uplifting.

We're getting some last minute jobs done for Mom's open house at the church tomorrow. She's quite excitied.

My thoughts and hugs are with Myrt's family and friends.

Hi Saturday.

I thought I'd had a bad few day's, then I realised it was Myrt's birthday. Now I realise how well off I am.

Thursday our eldest was admitted into A&R, diagnosed with pneumonia. She responded well to treatment and was allowed home on Friday night, subject to 4 weeks bed-rest!

What with that, the wife being diabetic and me being a wheelchair user, it makes you glad to be alive.

Sunny day here so far with just a little wind at the moment but much too cold to venture out into the garden. Going down to the harbour later to do some birdwatching from the car ( getting too old to brave the cold these days )

My thoughts are with Mr Myrtle and Laurel today .

Morning all, was lovely and sunny when I went shopping this morning, now it's clouding over, very windy and cold and looks like rain is on it's way. As I was walking through the market and passing a plant stall a large pot of lillies shouted 'buy me, buy me' so of course I had to. See here http://nga-gardenshop.stores.yahoo.net/31-6331.html

Morning

Well I did start a gardening job this morning, but gave up after an hour as the woman whose garden it is likes to watch me, and didn't want me to carry on in the rain!!

I am therefore having a cash crisis so we won't be doing much today... chores chores chores, and maybe a DVD later.

I will be thinking of Myrtle too today

Blowy one here but dry so far, clouds are gathering.
Washing on line, zoo fed and cleaning done, John gone to collect my eletric bike from the repair shop and get the animal feed.
Going to be a day getting the fuchsias sorted and the show baskets planted up, this will prob take all tomorow to

Morning all, OH at work stocktaking until lunch time, so having a busy morning, its beautiful weather for drying the washing.
James and Hattie are playing cars together. Hattie has a new trick, whcih means I'm having problems leaving the room for 2 minutes - she can climb onto the dining chair, up onto the table and then sits nicking the fruit out of the fruit bowl! She still climbs up there even if I move the fruit!

Morning all. Weather not too bad at the moment but it is going to change dramtically later this morning with heavy rain and high winds. This is a bit of a shame because it would indeed have been Myrt's birthday and the three remaining Girlies are meeting up for lunch. It started off as a picnic out somewhere but as the forecast grew worse and worse we decided on lunch at The Mill on the Exe which is a very pleasant pub...

Morning... just got the big curtains out on the line while it is sunny and windy... decorator nearly finished so I'll have the poles and things to put up.. It's all go!!

Good morning from West Dorset. 'Tis dry here and fairly mild but they're forecasting yet more rain.

We spent a profitable afternoon in the garden yesterday until it came over very black and we had torrential rain. Just about managed to get inside and changed out of our gardening clothes only to find that the rain stopped and we had blue skies again.

I think today will be spent doing exciting...
