Your plant is definately an opuntia microdasys, it looks a nice healthy plant if a bit narrow at the base &amp; that may make it fall over. I wonder if it has
been shaded when small as that can make them grow taller &amp; thinner searching for light. The pads can easily be removed &amp; planted up to make more... ]]></description>

raised spines. If so they are very easily detatched but fairly easy to remove if you wipe them away from the side. I have one &amp; I love it, it grows quite

I&#39;ve got quite a few cacti, which i keep on my kitchen windowsill, and they grow like mad, but so far after about 5 years, not a flower in site. Two of
them i&#39;ve had for over 20 years, and they have flowered occasionally, but trying to put a name to them is so hard. I&#39;ve looked all of my cacti up times
on the specialist web sites, but it is very confusing, and none of what matches is certain.
