Plot goes round squashing them on a regular basis now . I didnt have them til a year or so ago

I was out looking for plants yesterday and went to get a lily and then thought lily beetle so I didn't get one. I hope you get on top of the little beasties, do they have a nematoid for beetles?

I haven't lost any lily plants but they all look a tad like lace curtains - the only dead are the beetles.

I killed two on my lilies last year - first time I've ever had them in my garden. I'll be keeping a lookout for them again this year. Sorry to hear you've already lost so many plants to the little blighters Jean.

The dreaded lily beetle has arrived in my garden and has been chewing on my young lily plants. Killed 10-12 yesterday on 4x 6inch plants - so I went looking and on a container of newly emerged lillies found 4 more. So I shall be keeping a close eye on them now for more of the little b******s
