For most of us here in our region this Winter was a long one. But Spring arrived "over night" , practically, actually it was right away more like
summer. We don't have a very long spring here. It's sort of 'fur coat today - bathing suit tomorrow'. I am celebrating my 50. year in Canada
this year in July and I still notice this abrupt change in climate. But of course it have been 50 wonderful years.
Well, enough with the chatter, here are some pictures I took this spring :
This shot of course was taken early, March 11.. We sighted 2 Swans on the Bay on Charlston Lake. What a welcome sight it was.
Then , later to our amazement the Wild Turkey's paid us a visit again. They had not shown in our yard for years.
Of course the Gold Finches are back again also.
And Mr. Red Squirrel is a great opportunist.
Here a couple of Wild Turkeys. We had all toogether 10 Turkeys come and have4 'supper' , they snacked on the Wildbird seed on the ground. Could only take photo's through the window, they spook very easily.
Oh boy, now that I painstakingly posted those pictures I realize :'I am in the wrong forum'. Sorry about that.
(One question: I used the Photobucket icon to post these pictures and what I found was that the 'band' of pictures won't stop moving once you click on a picture. I know I am lacking practice.)
