Not a valid window 32 application

Established Tree Posts: 9160 13-09-06 16:25 Established Tree	My neighbour got a digital HP camera and yesterday I helped her install the software that came with it. When we try and open up her pictures in her documents/my picures file we are getting a error message that says... jpg is not a valid windows 32 application. I have been trying to get her pictures to open up in the PhotoFiltre program that I also downloaded for her. Can anyone help us with this? It's like the blind leading the blind here.

Established Tree Posts: 3602 13-09-06 18:37 Established Tree	Sounds like you have broken the file association for jpg files. Try starting Photofiltre and using the open option to open the files. If they open that way ok, then from explorer try right clicking on the file and selecting open with and select photofiltre and if offered take the option to always use photofiltre.

Established Tree Posts: 21115 13-09-06 21:56 Established Tree	I have to say that I haven't bothered even loading the software that has come with my last couple of cameras - Windows and Photofiltre or Irfanview are all I need. I would be tempted to uninstall the camera software and see if that makes a difference.
