Glad you guys are enjoying the story - it's only thanks to Pip that we can share it with you . Dan is indeed missing his lie ins - I've been banished to the internet cafe this morning while he catches up on some . It's so noisy in this particular place that I can't even contemplate a lie in - for some reason Indians hoot their horns at EVERY passing vehicle and in this town, it goes on 24/7. Fortunately we're off from here today. I can't wait to get to Goa and just chill out on a deserted beach for a month or so. The travelling and short stops are very tiring with not a great deal of time to unwind in between.

Will have another update for you soon , hope you're all taking care of yourselves. I'm off back to my room now to see if himself has surfaced! There's a power cut here at the moment (they have the computers running on 240v batteries which look absolutely lethal) but there's no fan in here and I dread to think what the temperature is. We'll get a tuk tuk to the beach a bit later before our overnight train this evening - at least there's a breeze at the beach, although we can't swim here because the sea is too dangerous - an Indian guy had to be hauled out by about another 10 people yesterday and he was only in up to his waist!
