Been a while since I started off the morning wake up call The dawn chorus has started and my resident blackbirds are singing away in the tree outside my window. Yesterday was not such a warm day with us reaching only about 13 degrees so I am hoping for warmer today so I can get gardening . I have at last got my plants for my tubs and hanging baskets so must get them planted up asap.
Hope you all have a good day and for those who are poorly or in need.

Morning all - just! Slightly strange morning not being able to get in here, actually got a few things done.

Another lovely day, starting to think it's about time we had some rain. Just work later on. Have a great day all!

Mornin Mac/All.

Bit cooler here too,Mac, at 16º, but absolutely perfect for outside work. More sunshine on the way for today, which is the first day of our big agricultural show. Am hoping to go there this morning, but shall have to see.

Good morning all.

I'm just getting the bedding washed before the storms that are predicted for later today.
I managed to get the lawn mowed yesterday which was good.
I'm keeping an eye on the water level in the pond...not sure if it's leaking or just evaporation.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying a good day today.

According to the times on the above posts everybody is up very early.

No doubt there are one or two ajustments which have to be made after the updating.

We've spent the morning in the garden potting up yet more pots with stuff from the greenhouse, you could almost see the roots stretching once they were out of their cramped flowerpots.

I am amazed at how much the garden has changed in just one week. We've missed a couple of flowers on the tree peony - all that's left is the petals on the ground beneath the plant.

Kev loves it, I find it a bit of a pain as the flowers are so short lived and the rest of the time it just sits there.

I've managed to upload both our piccies and deleted quite a few as being no good. Now all I have to do is go through them carefully and choose the best for showing. With nearly 500 to go through this could take a while.

Glad we're back up and running, I don't like saying good morning in the middle of the afternoon.

Hi all, just got back from the lottie. Put in 50 cabbage / brussel / cauliflower plants of different varieties and watered everything.
We desperately need some rain, its like a dust bowl down there!

The sky is grey and heavy with cloud so

though the heavy rain forecast for tomorrow has changed to sunny intervals.

I am sooooo tired today, don't think I'm quite over my virus from last week yet.
