My Daughter's garden. |

Here are some flowers from my Daughter's garden. The Livingstone daisies are lovely, it is a pity they only come out when the sun is shining! (which is
not often at the moment

What a lovely display. She is obviously a keen gardener, why don't you invite her into Real Gardeners?

Is it a courtyard garden? Or have you just teased us with a small bit?

I am glad you like my daughter's garden. Actually I do the gardening for them, as she is disabled, but she loves her garden and takes interest in it, and
we confer about what is to be done. We moved here to be near to our daughter and son in law, and are very happy that we did it. they have a big garden, part
of it is a courtyard and the rest is lawned with trees and I am currently extending the areas under the trees for more bulbs. It makes me happy to be able to
help them in this way. She calls it "an extension of my garden" or "my other garden!"
I was going to make blackcurrent jam today, but it is raining so I can't pick them! Hopefully tomorrow! |

I have been busy digging out more beds for bulbs in my daughter's garden, and deciding where to put what. I put a damson tree in for them two years ago,
but it is showing signs of leaves curling up and holes too. Also it has been attacked by bugs this year. Last year it was fine, but it looks very poorly at
the moment, although there are a few damsons ripening on it. I have sprayed it with a spray which the garden centre advised for "shot blast" ???
(something like that!) but discovered afterwards that it said to keep clear of fruit or food crops, so am wondering if it has "poisoned " and we
can't eat the fruit (if they ripen OK) I am afraid I am not very up on fruit trees. I think the spray had dithane in it?? Maybe not quite right, but the
spray is down in the shed. Has anyone else had problems with fruit trees this year?
