Established Tree Posts: 17892 03-03-08 09:47 Quiz Coordinator	A bright sunshiny morning although they are forecasting that it won't last. I think it is going to be a gardening morning for us - at least until the weather changes or we get too cold - or get bored. The area around the pond is horrendous with grass growing where it shouldn't. I think it is my fault as I planted some 'quaking' grass a few years ago and now it is trying to take over the whole garden. Our car goes in for servicing tomorrow so we must make sure we have enough cat food to last two days it doesn't matter about us but the cats insist on their usual rations. Enjoy your week folks.

It's definitely the calm before the storm though because it's to rain later this afternoon and a warning of freezing rain for tomorrow as the temps drop. Yuck! The rest of the week, below freezing temps and flurries...more Yuck! I had a bit of a disappointment today. I've finally decided to try my hand at growing asparagus. My online gardening source had beautiful, well priced plants advertised, but when I went to order them today, they were all sold out. I just hope I'll be able to find some good plants elsewhere. I did manage to spend a bit and order some veggie seeds and 3 Agapanthus plants so dreams of abundant blooms and bountiful harvets are already filling my thoughts . I hope everyone is having a good start to the week and that Salli and Dan are safely on their way to dreams come true.

Established Tree Posts: 4213 03-03-08 20:38 Established Tree	evening all! What a busy day, I've just done the washing up in the bath ... and given away the hob to a freecycler! Yep, the kitchen contractors turned up today and I now have an old kitchen in a skip and a new kitchen a third of the way installed! Most of the base units are in as is the new dishwasher (just didn't want to spoil it yet!) The house looks the most horrendous tip ever! Went for my first phsyio appt too, which included acupuncture and sonography (?) cant think of the other word for it but its the same as you have when they look at a baby when your pregnant! (Brain is not functioning!) Have a great evening
