Good Morning Bill and all, feeling cold but dry outside. Off down to my son's today to give a hand in sorting out his bedroom as it so packed with stuff
that he will never use, Denise is coming as well and Peter' is the driver to take the lot to the tip, (I hope) as there is going to be "I want to keep
that"

Morning Dot and all when you get here. A bit overcast at the moment but it should stay dry. I'm up early for work but then I finish at 1.30pm so not
too onerous. Spent a bit too long playing with my new phone yesterday, an HTC S620 - very whizzy. Have a great day all!

Its throwing it down with rain and its so dark at the moment. School this morning. Lunch with friend. 1-2-1 tuition this afternoon. Hairdressers tea time. Have a good day all.

Cloudy sun here but the weather isn't really of a lot of interest to us today as we're off to 'work' which will be spent sitting behind
computers in an office.
Yesterday was spent mainly in the garden. At last the bed around the pond is looking reasonable, a bit bare though so lots of buying opportunities  Kev
edged the lawn around the bed yesterday evening which makes it look really tidy Now it's just more of the same on the rest of the garden.

Mornin all.
Been up from just gone 3.00 sorting out the cooker extractor fan. They don't make replacement parts for our model any more, and it's only around 10yr old. 
Having said that, spent a bit of time making bits & pieces for the louvres, and I think it may just last as long as us now.   |

Good morning Dot, Maggie, Laurel, Helen and others. We had good rains last night - about 10mm. There could be more for a few days, but nothing today so far.
We have finally got a "Vegetation Control Agreement" with the power authority regarding our Cedar. We had to get an arborist to fill in a form saying it was sound and unlikely to fall on their street wires. And we had to make sure we were covered by insurance if it did as we would be responsible. Anyway, all done so hopefully no more nasty letters saying we have to take all the branches above the wires off and any others within several metres horizontally or underneath. We had another of their letters yesterday so I rang them and got them to mark our records to say the tree is covered by a V.C.A. He did it while I was on the phone, so end of story I hope.

Morning all
Very cold this morning, but sunny and dry.
Dot .... don't tip it! Freecycle it!
Not much planned, except the washing and cleaning the bathroom, might pop to the lottie after lunch if it warms up a bit. And looking after my stubborn daughter who will be going to bed if she carries on the way she is this morning! 
Went for my 2nd run of the week last night, just taking it easy then upping the pace each week by a minute or so. Must put some seeds in later too. Have a grrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt day x

Been to the gym and swim, got caught by an instructor who decided i needed to work on my tummy muscles  and she is going to check im doing them next week
Zoo fed ect so just cleaning and work and some ironing to do then an easy day is planned

Morning
Done one quite easy gardening job this morning. As littlies are still off school thats it for work for me today except for quoting for a one off clearance job. Got to try and get Emilys' haircut later, one hairderesser quoted £20... she is only 8!! I have decided to start jogging in the evenings and/or rearly mornings to try and shift a few more pounds, I never have enough time to get to the gym.. watch this space

A late hi from me.
It's still difficult times here, just waiting to take my mom to the doctor. She's had two more falls, not hurt but still a worry. I seem to be spending alot of time on the phone what with one thing and another. It's been beautiful weather here and I would have loved to have been able to get out in the garden. Hope your leg is soon better, Mac. 
Congrats on the snazzy new phone, Laurel. 
That's wonderful news about both the rain and the tree, Bill. 
Good luck with those tummy muscles, Dawn. Actually, they say sex is great exercise and burns tons of calories. Given a choice I think I'd prefer it to running. 
I hope the day has treated everyone well.

Evenin all.
Well....................I know nothing else. Not often I get time to read through, the morning thread, never mind the rest of the things you peeps share, but I just associate with Shirley, and anybody who has a Mum in the same situation. I called with MIL this evening. Why? Look at what I did this morning. Yip. Her Fan. Anyway, ot transpired, her fan was ok, but her door lock wasn't. You listenen 'DelBouy' ? 
I love me MIL, but what am I/we goin to do with her. That all on top of 'Tesco' building the biggest stire in the UK111 Well. PH UKTesco. We want a town as it used to be, and just like 'Lea On Sea', and where was it the Boss frolliced in 'England'. We see all them stores every day, and I am losing my nuts. Work that one out Tesco.  |
