I bought a couple of packs (2 for the price of 1) at the GC last weekend. Now I know why they were selling them off cheaply - they should have been planted in
February!

A few years ago I bought begonias in just the same way Bryony and wondered the same as you . I duly planted them up giving them a good feed of fertilizer
and I had a wonderful show of red and yellow flowers . They lasted until last the winter of 2006 when mice ate them

Like you say you are a bit late see example here; http://tinyurl.com/5opmzz but you are not showing so its worth a try.
I bought some tuberous varieties last Saturday and potted them up on Sunday and put them on the hotbed and they are showing signs of growth already. So go for it!! after all you have bought them now so nothing ventured nothing gained. |
