I very rarely wear socks, even when I've got boots on and often get moaned at for walking around the garden bare-footed then back into the house with mucky feet!!

I know socks and sandals is naff, and my dad is guilty of it too, but I would much rather see socks and sandals than see some of those peoples feet ... bleurgh!

Actually I do have to agree with you Muggs on the minging feet , very much a neglected area of the body, especially for men, and hairy toes, don't even get me started, men do have razors !!!

I live in sandals most of the year and don't wear socks. However, I make sure Ian does as he's on of the unshaven toe brigade!!!!

I reckon men should have a compulsory appointment with a chiropodist BEFORE they are allowed to take their socks off in the summer... yuck yuck (and so are socks with sandals!!)

I love the way all us women moan about mens' feet but I wonder how many women actually take care of their feet before they don sandals?

I do Pip , would not even wear sandals without painting my toenails first , feet are pretty ugly things all round , so anything you can do to improve them has to be a bonus

I have to being a diabetic, the feet get very dry and you have to condition them most days, also the toe nails have to be kept in a certain way as they can cause problems. Women can also have hairy toes, especially the large toe. I remember being in hospital for a stomach complaint when a doctor came round and happened to notice my feet he went all well funny about them, later that day he came back with all the students and showed them my lovely feet he said, I had to remind him I was in for a stomach complaint. How many have ruined their feet with wearing unsuitable shoes causing the pinkies to bed in? I must admit having size 3 to 4 and very narrow I was lucky in that all shoes were wide enough.

I hate my feet and never ever wear peep toe shoes or sandals so don't have to worry about painting my nails

I never show them in public at all, only OH and children see my feet bare!

Feet are feet. We all have them ladies... deal with it.

Socks are never worn with sandals here and it is a standing joke that if you see someone disobeying this "rule" they must be an English tourist.

How shameful for us Brits, I find socks n sandals yukky but then when people go on holiday it seems they'll don anything. We're about 40 mins from the sea & yet the people staying at the holiday place up the road wander up & down the road in swim wear. It certainly slows the milking I can tell you! My feet are quite nice except for one big toe nail that has thickened probably due to being trodden on too often by horses

My feet are o k I guess, I dont often wear socks, only with a certain pair of boots. Live in flip flops most of the summer and I do paint my toe nails. O H's feet however

get me hysterical but he doesnt wear socks with sandals
