. It means however he will be more vulnerable to infections.
You are probably aware I am fostering Sals cats why she is away on her Asian Tour. Felix came to me with an eye infection and Charley was showing signs of herpes/clamidia both had treatment which Sal knows about. Felix was beginning to shut one eye and Charley was sneezing and her eyes a bit 'weepy' so they were due for a vets visit anyway. With Bolly being more vulnerable I also really needed to re check charley and Felix's health condition.
The vet that saw them was a locum, whilst one was on holiday. When we went in she tried to pull up their details on screen but got nowhere so asked for help. The admin assistant came in and explained... They don't put 'Cat Protection' patients on the comp as.... "They are not around that long". What they have is a 'page-a-day' diary with a CPL sticker on it. In it they write who they have seen and what they've done.
Well I couldn't remember the exact dates Felix had been in, (also kept overnight due to the eye problem). The locum vet tried looking through the diary but honestly without knowing the exact date it was futile. Bless her she was a peeved off as I was. Well she was unable to look at previous diagnisis and treatment though I was able to offer info.
Anyway, cat lover or not do you think its a bit off

If Felixs' had been on the comp she would have all of the info she needed and a history of treatment. I have to say she was fantastic. Felix is now on another set of medications and goes back on Tuesday. Sadly this vet won't be there.
It can't be that difficult to add any animal to a vets data base, I'm sure there is just a blank proforma which they just need to fill out.
Sorry once again I'm using RG to organise my thoughts
to all who bothered to read
