There are several of us up and about so this may well be a duplicated good morning thread.

It's just like Mallorca out there - rain! I know it is just what the garden needs but it would have been nice to see the sun for just a little bit longer.

We're off to 'work' this morning so I guess the weather won't affect us too much - I will most likely be chatting to the girl I last saw in the rain in Mallorca half-way up 365 steps in Pollenca.

We had a good yesterday morning putting yet more begonias into pots ready for the front of the house. There are more plants in the greenhouse waiting to be put outside but the area I want to put them is still full of beautiful pansies which are flowering their socks off at the moment so I just can't bring myself to pull them up.

No doubt by the time they go out my baby plants will be so potbound that they won't develop properly ... Oh dear, it is so hard being a gardener.

Sorry your weather, and holiday, were a bit of a washout, CA,

but be happy in the fact that the sun is splitting the trees here in Banbridge.

Usually the other way around.

Had a great day at the show yesterday, and might even be on local BBC radio this morn.

Morning all, in the clouds here, so too wet to get cracking in the garden. Still tons of work to do there and trying to make the most of a quiet week between courses. Oh well, have to do my French homework instead

Good Morning all, raining here as well, and I bought two plants on my day out to the garden centre yesterday, (pond plants) maybe be there will be a break through the day for me to get them in.

Morning all, not had to take James to school this morning as my sister took him in the ca, so I've got a load of washing in, all the beds changed and dusted the lounge already!
Its lovely outside, much chillier than it has been and very breezy but sunny.
Still not over this virus totally, I am so tired all the time.

Morning all. Damp here but not raining at the moment but we've obviously had a lot of rain overnight and some plants that were left out to harden off have taken a right battering, retreivable though. Not sure what I'm going to do with my new day off yet, plenty to do at the allotment but not in the forecast pouring rain, thank you. Have a great day all!

Well the rain hasn't reached us yet but it's cloudy and decidedly chilly compared with the last few days - I'm glad I didn't pack away the winter woollies! Workmen pitched up outside our house first thing and erected temporary traffic lights. Apparently there's a blocked drain so they're digging a hole to investigate. I'm sure digging holes is the best part of road maintenance and is a carry-over from making mud pies when they were little boys! At least it will slow the traffic down which will compensate in a small way for the noise and inconvenience.

Morning all. Steady light rain here which I'm pleased about as the beds and lawn will get a gentle soaking. Green Thumb gave them their spring feed on monday so hopefully the goodness will soak through.

had a lovely day out yesterday friend Alison picked me up at 9 and we went to Bristol's Cribb's Causway I bought two tops sandels and a new purse

Good morning everyone.

It's been a cool wet Spring so far. This morning it's just 5C, going up to 17 later though and we're getting a sunny day. We've got a long weekend this weekend and the weather looks very cool and cloudy. Sunday will only be a high of 12C and Monday 13C with rain. There will be a lot of disappointed people. It's traditionally the weekend that people open up their cottages for the season.

Hope the poorlies will soon be back in good health.

I'm off with a cup of coffee to play outside.
