Flowering Annual

Well this is a first for me.
Today will be frantic so why am I still up.?
I am off to man the allotment stand at the Derby Garden show. We spent all Thursday evening transporting plants to the place. I didnt realise we had so many. We still have a lot of sorting out to do when we get there. All this after a manic week at work again. I cant believe that I am taking a day off work to do this

Praying for warm weather I am grumpy if I am cold and cant exercise (ie dig) to keep warm. Off to

Good luck scissors

Gentle rain here but I'm not upset. I'm happy for the ground to get a good soaking. I still have bedding plants to go in but I potted them on so I'd have stronger ones to go in so they are still quite happy. Feel like having a lazy day on the comp.

Good luck with today Scissors - I'm sure you'll enjoy it once you get started.

It looks like being an indoor chores day here as, although it isn't raining at the moment, there is every indication that it soon will be. I don't know where the dust comes from when we've been away for a week

I guess the cats must have been up to mischief while our backs were turned.

The grass loves this weather - it was cut on Tuesday and now needs another going over. It's too wet to do though so by the time the man comes again in a couple of weeks he will be needing a scythe.

The weeds are doing the same - which is particularly gauling as we'd worked so hard to be weed free for when our VIP guest arrived just two weekends ago.

At work today, but having probs shaking off this virus. Got a chest pain today that I've had since I got up and at the moment I feel quite peculiar.

Morning all. Not raining at the moment but it's going to, I think. Got a bit of challenging digging done at the allotment yesterday, the deluge the previous night made it a lot easier. May get over there again this afternoon. Out to dinner tonight. Good luck with the Show, Scissors! I think you ought to see the Quack again, Muggs. Have a great day all.

Back! Just got told to rest Kitty, and if I get short of breath to go back! Apparently the virus takes about 2 weeks to clear out your system.

A four hour lie-in - you lucky thing!!!

Good morning everyone.

It's cloudy and chilly here this morning with more cool weather and showers for tomorrow. To bad, we could go some sunshine and warmer temps here. I'd love to be able to go to the GC and get some things, but there's actually a risk of frost so I'm thinking I'd better hold off for a bit longer because I really don't have a safe place to hold them.

That flu sounds nasty, Muggs. A 4 hour nap sounds like something you should consider too.

It's been lovely all week so i've been busy in the garden trying to get on top of the weeds! Been looking after Jennifer too + making some cards; must post some pics of them when i find a few minutes to spare!

Hi again just back from a cold day at the Derby Show. Went well though inspite of the weather and apparently Friday is always slow. I didnt seem like it from where I was. Took £113 pounds and have got a lot more space behind the stand. Will get Plot to post those photos Honest!!! You were right CA I was fine once we were organised. Thanks for all your good wishes. Plot's turn tomorrow.
