I hope the Doc sorts you out Laurel - you seem to be doing a lot of medical type visiting recently which must be a big interruption to your life so I here are some RG vibes that whatever is wrong gets sorted pronto.

We had a productive morning in the garden yesterday - Kev rebuilt a compost bin and then started on digging out a pile of subsoil left over from when the greenhouse was built one or two years ago in preparation for taking it to the tip. We thought we'd use it elsewhere in the garden but it is full of weeds so we've decided that someone else can have it. I just concentrated on pulling up yet more weeds and doing a spot of cutting back of a few plants which were getting above themselves.

Yesterday afternoon I got the lounger out and lazed in the garden with a couple of cats. Not the most comfortable of occasions as both cats thought the lounger was for their benefit and were working on pushing me off it.

Today we're taking our Bus Passes on an outing and heading for Beer. It will take twice as long as going by car and the return timing isn't the best but it will be cost free. This is the first time we've attempted to use our Passes for more than a 10 min journey so it will be interesting to see whether I or Kev gets irritated by its slowness.

We're being promised rain this evening which is desperately needed, the water butt is virtually empty - apart from a load of slugs which are no longer there
