Thought you might like to see these little chaps feeding on our lavender.

They're gorgeous, and the colour of the lavender is out of this world..nothing like lavender in France. ( I had a look at your business website and i think
you are very near to my brother and sister inlaw in Semeacq Blanchon 60km north of Pau, is that right? Looks fab there.

Really great shots. I would love to have these moths visiting my garden here in Scotland.

Wonderful shots, Belinda and I can almost smell the lavender.
I saw one of the little fellows earlier this year at my forget-me-nots.

We saw a hummingbird moth in our garden a couple of years ago. Unfortunately the camera was nowhere to be found. Those pictures are wonderful.

Great shots! I saw one in my yard feeding on a fuchsia last year - disappeared by the time I'd got the camera, though.

Fantastic pictues, you can't miss these critters if they're flying around, they are about 2 inches big. They are also migrants to the UK and commonly
only seen in the South of the UK. I heard an article on the Radio and the http://www.butterfly-conservation.org/ seemed pretty keen on hearing of any sightings. Might be worth paying them
a visit?

Ooh, that's a good site Z, lovely to have somewhere to go that helps you to easily identify butterflies and moths.
I'm going to have another go at photographing them today and see if by using the flash, I can get a sharp picture with completely arrested movement. See I've been inspired thanks!

Well Kitty, you should come on one of our courses - my OH can teach anyone how to take better photos! (Don't use me as an example though, I'm just the
cook and software person. But I am trying to do more.) Take a look at our
website if you want to know more.

We had hummingbird hawk moths on our phlox the other year when it was the hot summer, but of coarse by the time I got the camera it was gone
