The Redpoll is a winter visitor for us. They come to the feeding station and enjoy the sunflower seeds that we put out. In the spring they take off for the
Arctic where they breed and we will see them again in the fall.

What a lovely little bird and a great shot of it. We don't have those in my part of the country, I don't think.
It reminds me a bit of a red finch, which we do have here.

We have redpoll here in Britain but they are slightly different to your Artic Redpoll ..... ours at eh common or norhtern redpoll . I think yours have whiter
underparts to ours . thanks for shoing us Fenman
