We are developing a new area of RG that will offer suggestions of plants that give interest or colour at the various seasons of the year and I am now looking for plants that you have in your garden that you enjoy.
To give you an idea of how this will work please look here.
I am starting four threads in this forum covering the four seasons, so please select the thread carefully.
Post in the image (it doesn't have to be your own photograph), together with the name of the plant. It would be very helpful to those that are searching the database, and are unfamiliar with your plant or shrub, to give a few details about it such as maximum size, best aspect, type of soil grown in etc. If you aren't sure then just do a quick google. It will help someone else so much.
Colour doesnt necessarily mean flowers; it can be interesting foliage, anything that pleases you to look at. It doesnt have to be in your garden, simply in your part of the world.
Also please be sure to put in your area. You will see how I have divided up the areas in the UK, and some of the countries that I already have contributions for, but if your area/country isn't currently listed on the page, please do not let this put you off. It can be added
Please search your mind and the image files on your computer and come up with lots of information to make this area of RG useful for everyone
