Pip (Pip at Home, Eve) - The Boss
Ace gardener, founder of RG and its Prime Mover & Shaker until her death on 6 October 2014.
Goodbye Pip, we’ll miss you - and then some!
Information for members new and old
Real Gardeners (RG) is run by the members for the members, and this is why it has been so successful over the years. There is no joining fee - the whole site is open to everyone - but the downside to this is that we are also responsible for paying to keep the site online.
If you have never visited the main site you have a treat in store. Just click HERE, and you will see what we mean.
Costs are kept to a minimum, and donations will always be welcome once we’ve set up a way of doing it.
We have various ways of raising funds from time to time (when we get desperate). If you enjoy RG please keep an eye out for these and see if you can help in a small way.
Real Gardeners is a worldwide family site so please, before you make a posting, consider whether it is likely to offend others.
RG forums are not debating forums. We have enjoyed a very happy extended family atmosphere here for many years and if someone is causing disruption in the forums by their postings they will be barred. Members are welcome to complain if they see something that they feel is not in the spirit of goodwill that we try to foster.
Any postings that are hateful, disrespectful, divisive, or in any other way offensive, as well as any postings that attack others, whether by name, race or religion, will not be tolerated and will be deleted.
Before you make a posting please consider whether it is suitable for the youngest member of your family to read. These forums are read by young children and for this reason any unsuitable postings will be deleted.
If you do see a posting that offends you please don’t credit it with a reply. Simply ignore it. If you feel very strongly about it then get in touch with one of the moderators - see the list HERE. It will then be reviewed and, if appropriate, amended or deleted.
If this seems a lot of rules and regulations please bear in mind that it is just so that we can all enjoy the forums. They are a fun and friendly place and we do hope you will come back again and again, not only to read the messages but to share your experiences with us as well.
