Quote: Take you pick:- Sue Grafton A to Z books A for Alibi etc Kinsey Millhone is the main charactor and is a PI Patricia Cornwell - her older books are the best, the recent one's are far-fetched. Look out for the those with Dr Kay Scarpetta and Pete Marino, but don't bother with Preditor (Kay Scarpetta) or Hornet's Nest (Deputy Chief Virginia West) You might like Hornet's Nest but IMO its carp after the Kay Scarpetta books Dorothy L Sayer and Agatha Christie of course, although, I do like the Dorothy L Sayer films, the books are hard work, perhaps try a library one before you buy. Ann Granger - look for those with Meredith Mitchell and Chief Inspector Markby ![]() ![]() |

Im just reading the latest Ian Rankin "rebus" book, which is very good as per usual
Just finished Belle de Jour - Intimate diary of a London Call Girl but this is very graphic I also have Jodie Picoults book, 19 Minutes, which if anything like her others should be a good read. I love choosing new books ![]() |

Pens, try Carol Smith, her books are really good and they are all different. "Kensington Court" is a good one to start you off.

Just read Dean Koontz's 'Demon Seed', very good pschycological read, also 'Messiah' by Boris Starling. Dean Koontz is a very good story
teller but does do a lot of fantasy/horror stuff but very well done
