You can tell the weather's gone off today- lots of people online! As I still wait (and wait) for someone to transform my garden, my ideas are getting more ambitious, so I'm now thinking of a small pond (following Salli's plans with interest) and wondering whether to go the whole hog and take out the Leylandii hedge! Question is, what to replace it with? I'd rather have a new hedge than a fence, I think, as I want a cottage garden effect, but it has to be dog-proof from the start, and I'd like it to grow to about 6ft at least as it's quite windy here. I like the idea of beech. What does anyone else think? Anyone think a fence would be better? BTW there is not a garden on the other side, just a track, and it's about 15m. long.
