Help, during the 10 days i was away my sweetpea seeds have germinated and bolted to 6 inches with a pair of unopened leaves at the top. They are also bending to the light. What should I do.
I have kept the room at a constant 12-15 degrees.24/7. My neighbour suggests turning off the heat OR IS IT TOO LATE   Kitty |

Not too late, Kitty. Reduce the heat or move them to a cooler place with good light. The temp has been too high combined with poor light. In time you will see a secondary shoot produced towards the bottom of the single stem. Pinch the stem back to just above this shoot, keep cool to cold and you will have a stong secondary growth.
Assuming cordon and not bush S peas you should always take this second growth as the leader. It will be much stronger than the original one. Peter

Kitty like pete said i would pinch the top out and slowly move it to colder place having them outside in a cold frame by Monday if you can then they will grow harder and the stems thicken up (never to late to try

Same applies, Kitty - cold, good light, pinch as soon as secondary shoots are seen. Only difference is you don't just leave one cordon growth - let them get on with their natural bushy habit.
