How long is it since you've seen one of these? A silver plated letter opener in pristine condition, although the photo does not do it justice. The handle
is beautifully 'ridged' and there is a lovely 'balanced' weight to it. I confess I have one. Mine celebrates the city of Birmingham 1889
to1989. I do use it for opening letters but it is amazing what else it gets used for. I've even rescued a fine chain bracelet from between some floor
boards and got the plug out of the sink when the chain broke. I'm sure you can be equally inventive. What about using it for planting seeds or making
drills.
A 'classy' tool. I'm sure however it will look so stylish
by the phone or on a cabinet. If it's not for you it does come with it's box so could make a great gift for a silver anniversary or any other special
event.
Bids to start at £1 to cover postage which I will pay
