No Time To Hang Around
We might have missed the opportunity for advice on creating hanging baskets for autumn and winter but this book also covers spring and summer displays. From the Aurora Garden Guides this book is a complete guide to selecting, planting and maintaining a hanging basket. It explains what type of container and compost to use. It also covers the advantages and disadvantages of growing from seed, cuttings or plants. The book describes over sixty species of flowers and flowering shrubs, explaining their suitability for both sunny and shady spots. As usual the book is brand new.
The photo next to the book is one of my winter/spring baskets and they give such pleasure during these grey days. I'm just about to plant up my summer ones but this will keep going until they are ready to be hung in their glory
If you were interested I would like the bidding to start at £1 but as it retails at £4.99 I'd hate any one to 'overbid'. I'll pay the
postage so you can just concentrate on bidding
This auction will end at 12.00 noon RGT on Sunday 23rd March 2008
