Morning all from a bright, dry and calm Devon - it may even stay this way until late afternoon. Meeting Mr Myrt and Oscar at the allotment soon - he's
going to put a much stronger floor in the shed way before it's needed to save trouble later on. I'm taking a selection of hooks and 'useful'
things. Bill, unless I had a particularly vivid dream, The Boat Race was yesterday!
Have a great day all!

Good morning 08:47 BST* here
- I don't like missing an hour of sleep but I do like the light nights. The sun is shining and the birdies have had their early morning chorus outside our window - they're off eating now and building nests. Talking of nests, I wonder whether Denis will have a nest for us to watch again this year.
A truly horrible day yesterday weatherwise - it rained for most of it and I am just so glad that we live on a hill. Today is looking so much better that
we may even be able to get out into the garden for a few hours. Have a lovely Sunday everybody. *I see RG/Yuku is still on GMT - I guess something has to be twiddled to get it into line with the rest of us.

Hi all
Lovely sunny morning, but then it was yesterday for a couple of hours, then it rained for the rest of the day. Nothing planned just pottering. My holiday is nearly over I'm back to work tomorrow . Have a nice break Maggie.

Morning from Tring. The rain has passed and there are blue skies. The temp is supposed to be mild so it should be comfortable watching the rugby.
I'm slowly recovering from a fall I had on Thursday night. I fell on the stairs and am quite badly bruised but last night I was able to sleep more comfortably so feel almost human again.

Evening all, what a gorgeous day we've had here, blue skies and wall to wall sunshine, and so warm with it. I just love this time of year, I think its to
do with being a summer baby
I was up with the larks and down the lottie till 2ish. Got lots of seeds in, knocked down a dilapidated shed, salvaged lots
of wood and bricks, laid some little brick paths between my raised seed beds, and generally just revelled in being outside!
Came back home, mowed the lawn, tidied up a bit, gots lots of washing dry, tidied the front garden, took James to his granny's for the night and tomorrow. Just cooking a chicken and home grown veg for tea. (Its actually our first chicken this year - we are only buying free range ones now, so its a luxury rather than a staple). Enjoy the rest of the day x PS. Hope you're feeling a bit better Kitty
