Flowering Annual

This is growing in one of my flower beds and I don't know whether to pull it out or not! It first appeared last year and I left it to see what would happen. It survived through the winter and is now growing quite bushy. There is no sign of any flower buds, but I do like the leaves, I think they are really pretty. So.........does anyone know what it is? Thanks

No idea, but it doesn't look like a weed to me.

Surely if the definition of a weed is a plant thats growing where its not wanted.... and you like this plant ... then it's not a weed?
It looks very nice btw  Is that a flower head on a tall stem?

Exactly, Muggs. My dad had a very narrow definition of what constituted a proper plant or non-weed. I shall never forget the year a Foxglove dared rear its
head in the garden - he took it as a personal insult!
He would regard my garden as a weed-infested mess. (Well, it is at the moment  but I'm sure you know what I mean!)
I have cultivated many a weed on the off-chance it might turn out to be pretty. Yours is pretty - me I'd hang on to it.

Thanks everyone!
Lass, I think it is around 24 inches high and maybe the same (or more) across. It is quite bushy. I'm not sure if I have another pic of it in my camera files, will go have a look now. Thanks again everyone. My hubby agrees with you all, if I like it then it's not a weed. I think mainly, I'm a bit concerned how big it might grow LOL
