Me kill something Pip, you must be joking. We have a boat load of mice running up and down the ceanothus to the bird feeder and I can't make myself get any
mouse poison, they are so cute, especially the babies. I don't even kill snails, I just give them headache throwing them over the fence.

Not the ones in my garden Lynne - they just find their way to snail heaven via my size eights!!!!
Saph I found two of those red lily beetles on my lilies last year and I'm hoping that they won't be back this year as they do soooo much
damage.

Isn't he pretty? We don't have any like that here. I wish some of our pests were obliging enough to make themselves that obvious!

That is a shame Saph , because they make a lovely crunch when you stomp on them

Lily Beetles eh, Saph? Never saw them on my Lilies over the years. Thank you for sending the picture, will be on the lookout this summer. On one of my rose bushes I had the Rose shaver though, what a drag. Had to laugh Saph when you said you "were not a happy BUNNY". I too was not a happy Bunny when , the other day, saw a hugh, brown Rabbit come hopping out of the forest into our garden. The first time we saw one in the 11 years we live here. We shooed him away, so did our cat Simba. But he returned. Nothing eaten though that I can see. ![]()
