They have a flock of fruit bats at Chester Zoo. When Ian and visited I was fascinated by them but must admit the overpowering smell of their droppings got to
me after about 15 minutes. Great photographs Sal. I would love to se them in the wild like that.

Fascinating to see these wild animals in their true habitat. I think these bats have lovely little faces.

There is a flock, (flock??)(, of these in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens and they fly over our son's house near by every evening going somewhere. By
morning they are back in the gardens. They had to cull them a while back as they were growing in numbers alarmingly. (Didn't kill them, just caught them
and transported them a couple of hundred Km and released them.)
