Would anyone like some Washingtonia Palm seeds. This is a fast growing palm with fan leaves.

I'd love to give those a try, Scotty but I think our site is too exposed for it to survive the winter. They look great though - and what's that
wonderful coloured hedge behind the pool? If it's bougainvillea I'm spitting with envy
and will wish we had chosen Spain instead of France

It is a Bougainvillea fence Belinda..
Scotty sent me some pictures of it last month. Makes you want to "puke" doesn't it..

I would love to give these a try as well. Do they need any special conditions to germinate Scotty?

They seem to germinate very easily, I think if they were in a greenhouse or conservatory they should do fine.
I'll leave it a couple of days to see how many people want them before posting.

Love to give them a go Scotty if you don't mind. Those other seeds you sent me are coming on great! Are you looking for anything?

Scotty,
Wanted to show you that some of the seeds you sent me have already germinated and started growing. I used a 50% potting soil 50% sand mix. That seems to have done the trick..

Could these palms take the uk weather outdoors if hardened off slowly (northern weather)

You may stand a chance if you have a winter garden Tomell? Otherwise I think you would have your work cut out trying to keep them alive. Your up by Sunderland
- right?

Sorry Tomell, I know the winters are nothing like they used to be when I was a kid but it would still be too cold and too wet.
