Now we have members all over the world, it's nice to be able to see what the weather's like where they are - you get an instant look at time and
temperature, and you can get a full weather report for any of the areas featured.
To see for yourself, go to the home page (click here) and then click on "Global Weather" in the list of
links on the left.
Each icon shown up on the Global Weather page indicates an area where there is an RG Member. You can click on the individual icons and you will see the full
weather details for that area.
Also, at the top-right, is "Your own weather" - you can customise this link so that it automatically shows up your home town's weather when you open it:
- Type the name your town, city or country, or a UK postcode, in the forecast box and click on GO. (You may then get a page where you're asked to choose
from alternative locations; if so just click on the one you want.)
- A new window will open up showing you your local weather.
- On the new page, bottom-right, is an option to set this location as your hometown. If you click on this then your local weather-forecast will come up every
time you click on "Your own weather" (as long as you don't delete your cookies).
